Calling Names
There is no turnoff like guy calling her 'babbu' on first date, save it for later(#conditions apply).
Show her that you need not to be cheezy by calling her names which are taboo unless they are used by her first. Make sure you address her with her name and treat her with respect.
Being Superman
Don't start with 'I'm this / I'm that' its like she isn't on date but looking at creepy salespersons selling himself off to her. Listen more talk less. Let her ask questions if any. Don't make her regret coming out with blah blah...
Poor Past
Say NO to stories of your Ex. This will make your date confused about what exactly you want. If you keep on comparing everyone with your ex and talk about her all the time then friends dating is not for you. Go home and sleep, your parents will find you nice girl.
Movie Mode
Never go for movie on first date never...never ever..never. First of all you cant talk to her while watching movie and that make you stranger who made her watch movie she might hate. She can hear eating noises you make while jumping on popcorns. It's recommended to go out where you can talk and know each other.
Friend Phantom
Do not and never send her any signal that you are there for friendship. Getting friendzoned on first date is like getting killed in friendly fire on battle field. Make sure she knows you are intrested in her but not as friend.
